Odogbolu, a prominent city located in the Ogun state, south-western part of Nigeria. With a population of over 100,000 residents, Odogbolu, a larger part of the Ijebu kingdom, shares boundaries with four other towns, Ikenne, Aiyepe, Eyinwa and Okun-Owa.
Odogbolu is one of the notable towns in Ijebu land. It is the biggest town in Alekun area of Ijebu West, which comprises of Odogbolu, Ayepe, Okun-Owa, Ijesa-Ijebu, Eyinwa and Araromi-Akee.
Odogbolu is a part of ijebu kingdom which is quite a large one. It comprises eight Orule (homesteads) each of which migrated from separate settlements. The main occupations of the people are farming and trading.
