Our Story

The California chapter of Osadausa started in 2008 at Prince Durojaiye & Dr. Mrs. Funmi Owoaje’s residence. This meeting was facilitated by the then New York Chapter President, Chief Babatunde Okusanya. California became a full fledged chapter in 2009 after the inauguration that was witnessed by representatives from New York and Dallas chapters.
The California chapter embraced the national constitution aims and objectives, among which is to provide consistent quality standard of living for natives of Odogbolu in the U.S.A and Nigeria.
In line with our constitution, the California chapter embarked on outreach programs for the less privileged people in Los Angeles area through provision of foods and clothings. In collaboration with the New York chapter, at the national level, we enhanced the quality of the educational system at Odogbolu by providing educational materials and toilet facility for students. In addition, personal protective equipment were provided for the healthcare facilities at Odogbolu during the COVID pandemic period.
Presently, our membership cuts across the United States. California chapter has members from Alabama, Michigan, and Chicago who join monthly meetings via zoom.
We strive to implement new healthcare, infrastructure, educational as well as poverty/hunger alleviation projects as needed at Odogbolu.
